Please read these Terms carefully. They explain your rights and responsibilities when you use VoiChat, including the rules for credits, phone numbers, calling and voice cloning.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and VoiChat (“we”, “us”) for the use of VoiChat, including the website, the workspace and all AI voice services. By creating an account or using VoiChat you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
VoiChat is a service for businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of the business you register. “You” means you and that business.
2. Your account
- Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and one-time codes confidential. You are responsible for all activity in your workspace.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One business per workspace; do not share or resell access without our written consent.
3. The services
VoiChat provides AI phone support, outbound voice campaigns, voice cloning, AI voiceovers and rented business phone numbers, together with call history, support tools and a credits wallet. Some services are enabled for your workspace by us, and some (such as phone numbers) need business verification or carrier approval first. We may improve, change or retire features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid service.
4. Credits, pricing and payment
- Services are paid for with prepaid credits bought in Indian rupees. Credits are added to your wallet after we confirm your order.
- Each service uses credits at the rate published on our Pricing page and in your workspace at the time of use. Rate changes apply only to future use.
- A rented phone number renews every month from your credits. If a renewal cannot be paid, the number and its assistant are paused until it is.
- Applicable taxes and any carrier or regulatory charges are shown before you pay or rent.
- Credits are linked to your workspace and cannot be transferred. Requests for a refund of unused credits are reviewed case by case — please contact us.
5. Business verification and phone numbers
- You must submit genuine business details and documents. We and our telecom partner may approve or return a verification and may ask for more information.
- Phone numbers are provided by a licensed telecom carrier. You receive the right to use a number while it is rented; you do not own it and it may not be transferable or portable.
- Releasing a number is permanent — the number may not be recoverable afterwards. Monthly renewal stops once a number is released.
- We may pause or release a number where a carrier, the Department of Telecommunications, TRAI or another authority requires it, or where the number is misused.
6. Acceptable use
You must use VoiChat lawfully. In particular you must not:
- make promotional or commercial calls in breach of the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018 (TCCCPR) — including calling numbers registered on the National Customer Preference Register (DND) without the consent the rules require;
- call people without a lawful basis, or at times or in ways the law does not allow;
- send spam, or use the service for fraud, phishing, threats, harassment, or misleading or unlawful content;
- clone or imitate anyone’s voice without their clear written consent, or impersonate a person, business or government authority;
- record calls or collect personal data without the notices and consents the law requires;
- use VoiChat for emergency services or as a replacement for them;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or other customers’ data.
Where required by law, you must tell callers that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
7. Your content and your customers’ data
You own the content you add — your knowledge base, scripts, voices, contact lists, recordings and transcripts. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the services for you.
You are responsible for the content you provide and for collecting and using your own customers’ personal data lawfully. We process that data on your behalf in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. AI-generated output
The assistant generates replies, voices and audio automatically. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Keep your business knowledge accurate, review important outputs, and do not rely on the assistant for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the output.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep VoiChat available and secure, but it depends on telecom carriers, AI providers and internet networks outside our control. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, outages or reasons beyond our reasonable control, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using VoiChat at any time — switch off your assistant, release your numbers and ask us to close your account through the contact page.
We may suspend or close your workspace, with notice where reasonable, if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay, or if a carrier, regulator or court requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as payment, liability and governing law) survive termination.
11. Our intellectual property
VoiChat, its software, design and brand belong to VoiChat or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business while your account is active. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
12. Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and to the extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify VoiChat against claims, penalties and costs arising from your content, your calls and campaigns, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of law — including telecom, consumer protection and data protection law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify account holders in advance by email or in the workspace. Continuing to use VoiChat after the changes take effect means you accept them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you informally. Otherwise, the courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of VoiChat in India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
